Rob has over 20 years distinct drilling and operational director experience with strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of all business aspects. He began as a rig hand and through dedication and a true admiration for the industry advanced in his career to fulfill a lifelong goal of ownership. He is a dynamic leader with a focus on personal development and building a high functioning effective team utilizing proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Rob is an out of the box thinker willing to change the status quo while holding the client’s integrity, team’s safety, wellbeing, and project efficiency at utmost importance in all plan executions.
Liz has over 7 years experience in business development in the energy sector. She emphasizes on building key relationships through respect and consistent service exceeding expectations. She understands the importance of communication and balancing value and experience for clients and the team while always upholding personal integrity and professional representation.

Hank has been a journeyman water well driller since 1976. He is a plethora of knowledge and experience. Hank is go-to team member for sincere advice and trouble shooting. His expertise ensures projects and operations are executed properly. He enjoys touring Black Dog’s service areas to meet past, present and potential customers. He thrives on the diversity of navigating water wells and challenging something different everyday.

Riley has been working in the water well drilling industry since 2004 and obtained his journeyman certificate in 2007. His combination of experience, interpersonal skills, and ability to think critically through the most complex jobs have customers asking for his repeat services. Riley is an asset to the water well drilling industry, and it’s rare to meet someone who shares his dedication and passion for the profession. Whether it be a client or a teammate, he is always willing to share his knowledge and truly believes in providing the highest standard of services and respect at Black Dog.
Jeremy entered the drilling profession right after high school and has remained in this industry for the past 12 years. Since the beginning, Jeremy has operated a variety of drilling rigs and was a key senior driller on executing large diameter de-watering wells in mining at Fort McMurray. Jeremy recently joined the Black Dog team to further his knowledge and start his apprenticeship journey to becoming a licensed water well driller. He appreciates the physical and mental aspects of his role while working alongside like-minded people at company like Black Dog that truly values their employees.
Darcy’s role in the oilfield commenced operating wireline units which he did for 9 years before transitioning into the water well industry. Darcy has been involved in water well drilling for 3 years and is currently completing his water well drilling apprenticeship.
He enjoys the challenges of the different daily environments and the opportunity to operate well-maintained and clean equipment. His favorite aspects of Black Dog are being part of a team that shares the same willing attitude to show up and support each other every day.
Spencer has been engaged in the oil and gas industry for 19 years with extensive experience on service rigs. He joined the Black Dog Drilling team a year ago looking for a change in career that offered an improved work life balance. Spencer possesses a willingness to learn and adapt, values working with terrific people all while being treated as a person and not just a number at Black Dog Drilling.
Josh started at a steel fabrication shop operating and maintaining equipment for 10 years. Josh took the direction of the drilling industry and has been enjoying it for the last 3 years.
He welcomes the busyness of his role and diligence required to ensure the drilling operations are going as smooth as possible. Josh enjoys the range of work locations offered at Black Dog and finds drilling wells for homeowners and farmers rewarding.
